Australia after the unthinkable

I never imagined writing these words about Bondi Beach. A place that feels woven into our sense of normal life has been shattered by something incomprehensible. Like many Australians, I am sitting with shock, anger and a deep sadness that is hard to articulate.

I am not able to make sense of it or ready to offer comment, but this article by Matt Goodwin (a British writer) gives voice to questions many of us are quietly asking and struggling to express. It is confronting, but it speaks to the moment we are in.
